It's fine
I found the case to be sort of not worth anything really. It held everything in there for shipping. The top of the case plastic is flimsy and then and it broke through really easily. AT THE SAME TIME, I DIDN'T BUY IT FOR THE CASE. The stapler at Self works great and I had no problems at all with it EXCEPT for the fact that it's very hard to squeeze hard enough to get to work FOR ME. You have to keep in mind though, that I'm 57 years old and I have arthritis somewhat in my hands, and also carpal tunnel. I got it to work, but it wasn't a simple thing. Good for normal household use
I bought it as a gift for my son who had just had all his tools stolen, I was just trying to help him get basics together so he could work to start replacing his tools. He said it worked great until 3rd day then staples started jamming up. He also said they might be inferior staples he used after he ran out of the ones that came with the stapler. He did originally say it was a nice little set up and he did like it. His wife has since bought him an electric stapler so he hasn't check this one back out yet. I think it would be an excellent set up for around the home and normal use . Good but not universal
The staple gun is a sturdy, easy to use machine. Comes in good quality case with small supply of 3 different staples. I tried using some alternative staples, to reupholster chair seat, but at this point I would say this gun does not completely drive the full variety of staples which will fit into the chamber. When using the supplied staples the machine functioned perfectly.

the tang on the back of the carriage that hols the staples was bent too high to load staples in the spring loaded slot. once cleared work well. very,very limited supply of staples. No instructions or other literature. no idea what brand staples could work with it. It will just be a hit or miss trail for staples.

And it is heavy duty, and does work. I will be using this product a lot, once my other materials come in. The case is nice to have, but it itself is not heavy duty. However, I'm still very happy with it as well.
