I've got DirecTV and you may or may not know it, but when there is a heavy rainstorm, there will be either no reception or very intermittent reception! Well the weekend of all that rain and flooding we had down here in TEXAS last month, DirecTV was giving us a free 4 day weekend of Showtime! "Wonder Woman" and "Edge of Tomorrow" were on and I never really got to see much of either! So, I got onto ebay, looked up the movies and purchased both of them separately . . . I'm happy I did just that! Now I can watch them whenever I want and even share them with the rest of the family and friends. The grand kids especially, enjoyed the Wonder Woman movie! Also, I liked this version of Wonder Woman compared to the version I watched when I was much younger than I am now. Of course they're much ... Great movie!
The movie itself is great. However, even though the package was wrapped like it was brand new, there was a cut in cover of the movie case underneath the plastic. Either the manufacturer sold a damaged item, or it was opened and then resealed. The movie played well so I don't mind as much, it is just not as attractive.

Some might be tempted to dismiss Gadot as just another pretty face, but -- as hinted at in her scenes in Batman v Superman -- she rises to the challenge of playing Diana as both ridiculously strong and sweetly naive. She's ready to fight, but she's even more focused on vanquishing evil for the sake of peace. Unlike Superman, Batman, or any of her male DC fellows, Wonder Woman isn't broodingly conflicted about her role or responsibility in the universe; she's hyper-focused on helping humanity and defeating the warmongering Ares. Whether it's Gadot herself or talented stunt actors, she shines in battle -- as do her Amazon ... "Appropriate with great features"
Awesome movie! Is on par with the 2 other great DC superheroes, Superman and Batman. And, even though the movie takes place during WW1, it's as engaging with action as Captain America, the 1st Avenger was, set during WW11!
