Good for Cosplay. Not sure about Airsoft
So this is the only AK-12 in the market that is an airsoft gun as of right now. I personally would say it would be "good" but not great for airsofting. I am mainly going to be using this as a prop for a cosplay. Cosplay wise, it's completely viable, it's made out of plastic and isn't too heavy for the cosplayer when walking around a con. Airsoft: The whole construction for the AK-12 is plastic, so it is light weight. The gearbox is also made out of plastic. The gun also features a safety, semi and full auto. I ran into a problem where if on safety, moved to semi, it would still be locked. You can fix that by moving it to full auto then switch it back to semi to fix this locking issue., it comes with a battery (8.4v) and charger. The battery is stored in the stock, just push the butt ... So this is the only AK-12 in the market that is an airsoft gun as of right now. Also the whole stock of the gun can be removed by a little lever that is near the grip but is on the bottom of the stock. It also comes with a manual for the gun but isn't the correct model and isn't that very informational. The dust cover can be moved, but not locked. Now if you want to add attachments to the gun, you can do so by the rails on the top and bottom. The top rail isn't too hard to install attachments but the bottom rail is a different story. From my attempts, I tried to add a vertical foregrip, but it would never get past the first 2 rails without it getting stuck. I improvised and placed the foregrip onto a riser, and it fixed my problem for putting an attachment on the bottom rail.

Fire rate is slow with no kick, powered by a standard 8.4V small connector battery stored in the stock. The stock is detachable from the rest of the rifle itself, an unusual design. The stock; however, unlike the real AK12, it is not adjustable. It has a good weight to this rifle, everything is plastic, but it does feels a bit flimsy. The mag holder is a little wobbly, but still holds the mag. The rear sight is traditional AK style, very clear view. However, this rifle is not particularly accurate. Nice but
The gun came without a rear iron sight,a broken battery(negative and positive cords were out) and a broken unjamming rod I had to pay for other items though for the gun to be running.

Really fun, good looking too!
so this was purchased for cosplay but is an awesome fun BB gun. Batteries do wear out quickly-ish but I did kind of speed through the first couple of times. Having sped through I can say that it didn't jamb or lag in its operation. I plan on adding a site to make it even more fun and more authentic!
