I love Page & Plant on this CD, showing that their talents haven't faded with time. Many of these songs are covers of old Zeppelin tunes, reinterpreted through exotic world-music themes and instrumentation. Page still works magic on the guitar of course, pulling incredible sounds from the instrument, and Plant's voice is still incredible. Some people were disappointed when this album came out because they were expecting something more Zeppelin-esque; In my opinion this was better than some tragic attempt at recapturing the nostalgia of the past (like so many other bands have done). This was fresh and unique and it truly showcased the talent of these two musicians who are more than just a couple of old rock stars.
Great music by great musicians.....

I miss the old groups like Led Zeppelin. They were so powerful and they came from a fabulous time period in music. I like this CD well enough but I had hoped it would be a more equal split between Jimmy Page and Robert Plant. Instead it was more like a showcase of Robert Plant, backed up by Jimmy Page. I suppose that makes sense since Robert Plant was the front man. Anyway, it is still enjoyable and in fact I played it twice yesterday. Oh what I'd give for a TRIP back to the 60's!!
CD was a great new Renditions of old Led Zep songs that were done in good taste. I enjoyed them
