its really hard to find a c.d collection of stax records as there are so many classic songs from the label,the seed from which motown grew. having said that there are some of the greats on here though by no means all of them,though that would be near impossible & its well worth having especially as it can be bought cheaply on ebay. i was torn between 4 or 5 stars and i have gone for 4 only because it's no where near a full selection of stax sounds,but then again i would expect to pay a lot more for something like that if i could find it? so if you are after a taste of pure soul history i would say buy this c.d because you will not be disappointed by its quality or price.
it contains a collection of some of the best soul music ever.. and is guaranteed to lift your spirits.. no cd collection should be without it!!
I decided to buy cd as loved most tracks on vinyl and wanted to hear them on cd and revisit my youth.
Takes me back to my youth. And beyond. fantastic, 5 Star. Question? Why do i have to enter at least 100 characteas?
