I think it's great that Queen have honored themselves with a new release of one of their greatest accomplishments. Of course, I am talking about Queen's American breakthrough album, A Night At The Opera. When I first heard about this release, I was kind of outwardly annoyed that I would have to go and purchase this and add it to my growing collections of A Night At The Opera. As I look over my shoulder right now, I see that I own six different editions of this 1975 masterpiece. I always think that this next edition will be the one. Inwardly, I was as excited as I always get.
I loved this CD! Although I am a major Queen fan, this CD combines just the right balance of some of their greatest hits from over the years, such as "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Your My Best Friend", and "Death On Two Legs: Dedicated To...", to create something I'm sure Freddie would be extremely proud of! I highly recommend this CD for anyone wanting to add to their collection, or just a fellow listener, or perhaps for a gift!
This is my favorite Queen album! Great to see the videos and hear the songs in 5.1 surround!

The DVD Mix adds a unique feel and since May did most of the mix it shows how they wanted their music to appeal to the listener. Boh Rhap is interesting when set for 5.1 and played through 2 ch.. There are many onion layers behind the music. The videos that accompany the songs add to the entertainment. Great listen for a historic piece of music
This is the best sounding version. The DVD-A sounds perfect, rich sounding bass and the vocals are so clear. I have only played the 2 channel version, so I dont know how the 5 channel sounds. I bought this disk set for its advanced resolution audio, but the vidios are a nice plus.
