Shack originally recorded this album in 1991 but their studio was burnt down and everything had to be re-recorded. It's a brilliant album with strong influences from The Byrds and The La's. Sgt. Major and Neighbours are instant classics for me.
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
The 'lost' lp from the magnificent Shack. They should be bigger than Oasis (their tunes and melodies are). The studio burnt down, the only copy of the master tape got lost, the record company folded. But here it is in all it's melodic, punchy glory. Wonderful lyrics and vocal from Mick Head and great guitar from his brother John. The rythmn section are as tight as any thing the 'Rose's did while maintaining that fluid sound. Buy it and open up to Shack, you will not regret it. Go ed!! Thanks lads.
