All show at least minor wear; some have major defects. Notable examples: "Santa's Surprise Book" has a large portion of the front cover missing. The gilt spine cover on "Captain Kangaroo" is damaged and a smaller piece of that book's cover is missing. Many of the books have interior markings, including commonly the name of a previous owner written on the "This Book Belongs To..." plate on the inside front cover as well as other stray marks. All are readable; none are "mint."”
