Alice In Chains guitar player Jerry Cantrell released this album as his first Solo Venture. I bought this album because I like Jerry and also because I had heard it before. This album has many different styles of song, yet they all fit with Jerry's wonderful guitar work and vocal style. Boggy Depot ranges from the hard rockers (Dickeye, My Song, Keep The Light On, Cut You In, and Devil By His Side) to more mellow Stylings from Jerry (Settling Down, Hurt A Long Time, Between, Satisfy, and Breaks My Back. I Think that Jerry really shows his ability to not only play the guitar, but also to carry the vocal part. You can also sense a lot of Alice with this album. I don't think there is a weak song on it. So if you like good solid rock tunes with catchy vocals and great guitar work, then you should get this album.Read full review

Not as good as Layne's Mad Season "Above" album or Cantrell's "Degradation Trip 1&2" but still a must buy for any Cantrell/AIC fan.
