  • A Boy Named Goo

The hit single in this album "NAME" brings back a lot of memories about 1995 my sophmore year in college. The Goo Goo Dolls were always considered to be a hard rock/pop metal band(Signed to Metal Blade Records at first). This breakthrough album sent teh boys from Buffalo to new heights of fame and wealth, and it is well deserved. For many years as early as the late 80's I rememeber the dolls making records that were good but never got the recognition deserved. IN this one they did on a scale of 1-10 I give this album an 8. It was about time the Dolls got the recognition they deserved.

  • This is Great music its real awesome

I've always loved listening to the goo goo dolls! There music is so great, It's so different from what's on the radio theses days. I will always buy there music as well as other classic bands it's afterall what I like. One of my favorite songs on this amazing cd will always be Name, it's a great song it was written very well and I should know my family listens to there music too. There are many reasons why I would suggest this cd, but I don't have time to list them all, great music comes in all styles and lyrics images etc.

  • I love this cd. It is classic GOO-GOO Dolls.

First, it has the song "NAME" on it... I love the way they sound, they never really changed their sound like most groups do. They just have a unique sound. I also like the fact that they write 99% of their songs...(almost 100%). Every now and then they do someone elses song, but they ALWAYS do a GREAT job... At my age, I know the original songs, but I love the way they do it!!! I am 39, and have seen them in concert...you will not be disappointed!! This is my second time buying this cd, due to now my kids, ages 15, and 16 love them too....they ROCK, and they can do ballads!!!

  • Superb

  • Classic album, good ol' noisey rock

I wish there was a rating between good and excellent, because it's a little more than good. The album has a raw feel to it, and a punk energy. The guitar work is a lot more than just power chords, but harder than the typical Gin Blossoms/Deep Blue Something arpeggios of power pop in the mid-90's. Great tunes.
