What type of knife do you use most often? This is a very good-looking knife block set and the numbers of knives it includes led me to assume it would be of good use but - it’s not. Five of the knives are steak knives - not useful for cooking. I've read about straight knives before purchase and you do have to be careful when cutting and hitting the plate when you get through your meat. My kids cut like their cavemen and you can see the edge start to warp and vend a little. You will have to use the scone to keep them straight every once in a while.
