I brought this guitar two weeks ago and I am loving it. I am just learning how to play and so far I don't have no problems in tuning it or anything else with it. The guitar is in great shape. And also they are given us a great deal. You don't just get the guitar, you pretty much getting the whole kit. And the things they give us is very helpful. Don't hesitate to buy, it's a good beginner guitar to buy and you can't complain about the price.

Bought this for my second oldest as a birthday present. Second day she had it part of it broke. Had to go out and buy new strings that couldn't even be used on it due to it breaking. Before purchasing the new strings a friend who plays the guitar and teaches how to play it tried to tune it. It won't hold the tune. It isn't worth the money. It seemed like just any old strings were slapped onto it and with as easily ad it broke its definitely not worth it. Had to go out and spend the money to buy her a new one. Should have just done that from the start. Definitely don't recommend it.

Is as advertised - a decent beginner's guitar. Quality of the build is good - neck is straight, body has good fit and finish. Strings are too cheap - broke the low E as soon as I started tuning it. Dressed frets with an emery board, and it plays fine. The tailpiece and tuning pegs are suitable for wound nylon or such strings, instead of the supplied cheap steel. Will try those. Picked this up to get back some playing time that I've neglected for many years, and to annoy my co-workers at lunch time...
My daughter has wanted to play an instrument for a long time and we've tried many but never one she has taken to like this guitar. Its extremely comfortable to hold, (she is very petite with small hands) doesn't tire her out after 20 minutes, and she is already picking out Zepplin, Bon Jovi and other rock tunes on it. I recommend this guitar for a gift to yourself or for someone who is trying to find just what their instrument is. Its nicely made, sturdy and looks very professional. Thank You.

Would I recommend this to a friend.. heck I wouldn't even recommend this to an enemy If you are looking for something to reenact your favorite 80's hair band scene when they smashed guitars on the stage this is perfect. However if you are looking for something to play as a guitar almost anything else including nailing a yard stick to a cigar box would be an improvement. I don't expect much from a 35 dollar guitar but the selling of this junk should be stopped if for no other reason then the disappointment of kids who get given these pieces of crap by unknowing grandmothers who think they are doing something nice for their grand kids and are really just causing humiliation when the kid goes to Guitar Center for some reason and he/she gets laughed out of the door. I have tried to come up with one good thing to say about this guitar and I cant: * Made of something that isn't wood but just picking up the guitar caused the body to crack as there is no bracing. * Paint on the neck is slow gloppy that you can hurt yourself just playing it from the sharp lumps. * Wont hold a tune more then 2 minutes. * Tuners slip * Finish bad * No serial number so when you take it to Guitar Center they can't record it at the door so you get told what a piece of crap it is * strings bad * "Free Tuner" is a pitch pipe * Bag is so thin that it is worthless (and the zipper is bad) * Fret Buzz * Uneven frets * Humps on the deck * crappy sound Bottom line don't just walk away from this guitar RUN RUN FAST. There is probably EVERYTHING better then this guitar. Go spend 10 dollars more at a Pawn shop and get a used Ibenez or Fender that is made of actual wood or better yet spend $100 on a real guitar. It is a crime to even call this a guitar.Read full review
