Wow, the Sega 32X is really a piece of work. I own three of them, and all three came in one deal because it just doesn't work well. Unless you purchase a brand new one, and I haven't seen a brand new one sell for under 100 dollars yet, it's just a risk. Hooking it up to the Genesis is a pain, because you have to plug in two power adapters, one for the system, the other for the 32X itself. If you have a Model 1 Genesis, you'll require the prongs which half of the time you won't find with the 32X, for Model 2 you need the spacer which can be challenging to find too. 32X won't even work with the Genesis Model 3, nor the CDX model, so it's just not worth the money or time (or frustration). Some of the games are cool though if you do find a working 32X, and for the most part, this is not an expensive system to own or collect for. I'd leave this to the hardcore game collector, or a die hard sega fan.Read full review
