Statue is USED, as in that it has been removed from its box and displayed in a smoke free home behind glass. This statue has a notorious quality control history so the paint application, and its variations in quality across multiple pieces, varies. Mine seems fine relative to the piece. The eyes are fine; not having the "googly" crossed eyed look that was endemic to this production run. The underside of the base has a scuff that runs the length of it and crosses the hand numbering resulting in a smudge (see photos). The upside of the base is finished in a red and black shiny lacquer that is fine to the naked eye but when turned in the light then scratches can be seen. In short, it is not pristine and I'm not sure if it ever was meant to be.Show less
