This grill is great. Heats up fast, cook the food fast, and takes the grease out of the food. The food taste great, and the meat that I have cooked on the grill is tender. The only drawback if you want to call it a drawback is that the grease pan is not attached. My former grill grease "catcher" was attached to the grill, and I did not have to worry about if I accidentally knock the grill, which in the George Foreman if it occurs will spill the grease. But I will say about this grill is that it is a knockout, and I would recommend it to any ebay buyer.

This is the most convenient, easy to use kitchen gadget you can get. You can safely use it in a dorm room, a space-constrained apartment or a full-sized kitchen. You do need good ventilation depending on what you're cooking. From start to finish time for frozen burger to fully cooked hamburger sandwich is 5 minutes or less. Easy to clean - wipe it out, use the dawn spray stuff, final damp paper towel. I do so the utilization of larger units, but honestly... no. I like burgers for breakfast. You can get a dozen high quality frozen patties, a decent pack of buns, collect a bunch of condiment packets from literally ANYWHERE for free... a common car lighter adapter... tada! You can have hot food while camping! Downsides? Well... the hinges are a little shaky - the length of the electric cord is kind of short. I've cooked small steaks, burgers, boneless chicken breasts, even vegan patties... works great! Very safe, and easy to use. I have even used it to grill eggplant slices! You really, honestly should just have one of these things. A kitchen without a spatula, a frying pan and a George Foreman grill is just not a kitchen. Final note... the larger ones are not necessarily better... THIS size is perfect for a single person to cook for themselves. It was meant for fast meal preparation for yourself. My older brother got the big one for him, his wife and two sons... they use it constantly... but I still look at it as a device for a capable, single person just wanting a quick, hot meal. Get it... you'll be happy.Read full review

I'm sick and tired of cleaning up the grease splatters on my stove top after cooking. Thought I would try the grill the Champ uses. Never owned one before. I made "Recipe Teachers Best Damn Chicken" last night and it came out awesome. A little bit of mess on the plates but cleaned up easy with a damp cloth.

I use this type of device regularly. Mostly burgers - cow and salmon. The biggest beef (no pun) I've had with these is they smash my one-of burgers. This one is perfect. Also, I have found so far that the cooking surfaces on it clean better and seem to hold up to use. I actually gave a new one of the high-end G.F. grills away because it did not perform well on several counts. Summary of goods: Heats up fast, cleans well, grill lines are more shallow, high temperature plates, light lid, compact. One issue is that the plate temperature is on the higher end. As the food product nears the end of the cooking cycle, I actually unplug it so it cooks through w/o charring the outsides. I would, however, prefer to have the temp high than too low (like the other one I gave away).
