I have not flown model rockets since the mid 80’s. I was in my local hobby shop a couple months ago getting parts for my plane when I noticed the rocket section. Then I noticed RTF kits! So I bought one to take to my friend’s house for our Saturday session. Flew the little Riptide during a RC break and we were hooked. Ordered the Majestic the next week with a couple F15-8 motors. Assembly was easy and my next time at my friend’s house we launched it. The Majestic with a F motor was about perfect! It seemed to have a realistic slow takeoff and the F motor leaves a thick smoke trail as the rocket makes its way out of site. We have launched it 4 times so far even with a D12-5. The D motor actually seemed to take off quicker but the Majestic went half the distance and on the non windy day ... I have not flown model rockets since the mid 80’s. AWESOME !
I started a Rocket Garden a few months back. I now have 19 rockets in the front yard. I have lots of lights for the evening. People slow down every day when they see my "Rocket Garden". Several folks have informed me that their favorite rocket is the "Purple rocket meaning the Majestic Pro ll. It is for looks and not for flying. It is very nice looking to say the least.
