I really wanted it for display purposes for my World War II display
The Price is Right other people are asking twice as much for the same model in 1974 I think they were a little bit bigger. But you got to remember what goes up must come down, I built a lot of rockets in my lifetime different things happen if the parachute doesn't deploy gets melted for instance won't open then your high-dollar model crashes to the ground. So my idea of having fun is buying a package of rocket engines and having an afternoon of repeated fun. So buying it from this company is great because it's relatively inexpensive shipping was free what more can you ask just go out have fun show your kids about rocketry be careful be smart and you could do it repeatedly. And oh yeah if you don't have enough wadding to put in for deployment don't fire the rocket cuz that parachute will ... Finished product is not as clean as others
Everything is exactly as you would expect except the fins require you to cut a hole out of the plastic and and insert the fins. The problem is the plastic is very thick and is almost impossible to cut out with a knife or exact-o. I used a grinder but it was kit as clean as I hoped so after I put in the fins I had to use filler to fill in the gaps. Way too much work compared to regular fins.
