This is a pretty cool device. I've used it to light candles, my grill, fireworks and even my firepit. The firepit was the only one that it had a bit of trouble with only because the diodes are inset a bit. Past that, I love this thing. Very convenient. The battery life lasts a long time. Firework fuses fit perfectly in the "slot". The long neck provides good distance so that you don't burn your fingers. The adjustable neck is also incredibly convenient. I'm not certain what people are talking about when they say this is flimsy. I don't find it flimsy at all. If you have ever used anything with this type of neck, then you know how it behaves. It's not a solid piece of metal, so it moves. DUH! Mine does not move that much and will stay in place if you hold it sideways without issue. Would definitely recommend, especially for the price. Broke after 5 charges and will not charge. I used it indoors, never abused it, and followed the charging directions. One day just would not light, or charge. My computer said plugging it in caused a power surge on the USB port and my USB meter would just die. I purchased this lighter hoping it would last years and not have worry about a lighter being empty. This didn't even last a year.

ARC Light Electric BBQ Lighter Windproof USB Rechargeable Lighter for Stove tops, candles and other fires. It came in a nice box and after I charged it up with my phone's USB, (the older micro mini USB not the new C chargers), it worked really well the first time. It's simple to use and you can adjust the neck of it to any angle you would need.

These are the handiest little things to have around and have a cool futuristic feel to them. As a confirmed candle addict, I dine by candle light at least twice a day and use scented candles to relax at other times, so I was burning through the little Bic lighters left and right. These little guys don't burn out and seem to recharge quickly and easily in a USB port. (Be careful not to toss out the small cord--it's nestled under the packing plastic.) They last about a week of use before I need to recharge them. I only wish this one had a charging meter so I knew when it was about ready to recharge.

Lights everything, even candles! Very safe Lights everything. Very safe! We use it to light the gas burners on the top and to light the oven. It takes only a few seconds. To light a candle, you have to stick the front end right oveer the wick and hold button down till it lights up. Can start a fire in the fireplace if you can light a piece of paper inserted and then use the lit paper to start the fire. You can't use it to light a cigarette, as the tip won't fit into the front end. Whateveer you want to light if its not gas requires you to use the actual electric arc to touch whatever you want to light. I rate it AAAAA! Also, it has rechargeable batteries with a USB socke in the bottom to recharge the batteries. It would make a great present as a gift! I was dubious, at first, but after trying it as above, I realized how safe and versatile it is. The only cost is to recharge it with the necessary electrical USB outlet is the cost of the electricity used to charge it. every so often, depending on how much you use it. If you go camping, take it along. You just need a few strips of paper to light, and use the lit paper to start your fire or gasoline burner. Its also the safest lighter, because the arc is recessed. Just don't stick it in your mouth, as it could ignite the alcohol on your breath and blow you up! Read full review
