The item I received is as described. It works well, and the automatic shut off is handy, and a safe feature. The only negative I can find is the short power cord. At around 3 feet long, the user is limited in where the warmer can be placed. A 5 foot long power cord would be much more convenient.

I use small and medium jar candles, this will melt them in a short time and sometimes I will add wax melts to them and come up with my own scents. Favorite feature is the 8 hr timer this is the only one I was able to find with the timer. This will also keep your coffee mug warm
