Don't know if it fits the 2012 Ford Escape but it sure looks similar Did a quick test without mounting it and the fan speeds worked properly. Manufacture mark indicates it was produced in 2015, that is not an issue for this, its just resistive. Manufacture part # PA66-M40 suggested this would be the RU-365 style instead of the RU-440 I ordered. At the $10 price I might as well take the chance and hope it doesn't burn out in a month.

I ordered two parts originally since I own two of the same trucks for my small fleet and they sent only one?! Someone must have been groggy in the morning buts it's all good because I contacted them explaining the situation and they promptly made it right once they examined their inventory vs the original tracking information what actually left their facilities and immediately sent me a second wave package with the second part owed to me! As Expected
Very fast shipping and good communications..Apparently this 2012 Ford Escape resistor controls two different speed. Speeds 1 and (which did not work on this vehicle) and speeds 3 and 4 on a different circuit. Installed in 5 minutes and my wife is happy now .As they say Happy Wife happy Life. thank you

Only disappointment was I replaced the OEM part last year which was 6 years old at the time, with one of these replacement parts and now I'm doing it again less than a year later. Only good thing is on my application it's easy to access and a 10 minute fix. That and these are cheaper than OEM Dealer parts. If your heater/defroster blower only works on high, this is the culprit.
