One of few solid state receivers that sounds like tube gear. Easily maintained and repaired because you can get the manual and fix everything - and it was designed to be built by inexperienced people. Robust power supply and twice the heatsink per watt of modern home theater receivers (except of course the $1500 variety). Great phono section and tuner.
