    Great sound but one went bad almost immediately

    Overall love the sound. Sadly 1 went dead after 6 hours even after using a variac and allowing three and a half hours to bring them up. Luckily I bought 8 so after replacing the bad one the rest sound great.

    There are better for Preamplifier application such as Siemens CCa etc but these are good tubes to have, remembering that tubes do not last for ever.
