Received IP-27 in working condition. As an EE I found the build quality inside to be 10/10, professionally done, and clean. Little disappointed in the frame on back that was dented in from a good drop.

This is my 2nd IF-27 power supply, and I freshened this one up the same way as the first one, i.e., replaced the corroded screws that hold the top and bottom covers to the unit; wire-wheel brushed the corrosion from the silver-colored screws on the sides; sanded and painted flat-black the top and bottom covers; and replaced the old power cord. It'll probably work for another 50 years. The plastic handles are sticky (typical for old Heathkit units); leave outside for 2-3 Mo., snf they'll be fine.
