Great deal..
Fridge is up and running..repair guy charged ne $180. To replace the defrost heater and thermostat, all the time he had to have known it was the defrost timer..I bought it myself, install was a whole 3 min..and now the fridge runs like new again. Great stuff. Quality product.

Recommended replacement for GE
This OEM quality replacement has the 16 Hr cycle and 35 min defrost. Turn off power at temperature switch or unplug fridge and use a butter knife or similar shaped tool to gently pry the plug away from the old defrost switch.

The timer fit perfect. It was a different size and style of the old one, It was 20 years old. This one fit perfect. I replace the thermostat first but it wasn't the problem. The timer did the trick. The fridge is working perfect now.
