The new MT621 battery, although the part number matches what I found on the internet for my Citizen Eco-Drive watch (and it matches the part number of the removed battery), is not the same as the battery that I removed. It is considerably different in that instead of a brass connector on one side, it appears to be aluminum or steel and the geometry is very different. The watch does not work with the new one installed. I'm not sure why the new battery is so different but it doesn't work.

    Fixed a time-losing watch.

    Capacitor was the exact replacement fo the original. A little tricky to install but doable with a little patience. Watch runs well and doesn't lose time like before the replacement..

    Do it yourself!!

    Jewelry store told us it would cost more to replace the battery than the watch cost $150.00. Bought the battery here and replaced it within 20min. and it works fine again. Very happy with the outcome.
