An amazing feat of engineering for its entry level price. 100% recommended. Great job E. Emerson, and great job Kershaw. A good bulk of the weight comes from the solid stainless steel framelock: a worthy sacrifice of lightness, as the lock up is fantastic.

what's up with the frame lock?
I will not recommend this specific model, because of the whole frame lock situation it never engage, when pulling it out the pocket or when handed opened.. Other then that the wave mechanism works great, blade shape and sharpness awesome, it has a chrome and black finish which it looks cool. i do own another kershaw with link assisted, it works great, especially the lock.. if this review ever gets to KERSHAW/EMERSON review dept. Capable and affordable
Nice knife. Slightly disappointed that scales pictured only cover one side of handle. Smooth metal side harder to grip, but not too difficult. My only complaint. All other features of this knife make it very capable, especially the flipper. The flipper makes it better than the original, in my opinion.

Awesome every day knife
I did some research before I chose this brand so I knew it would be good but it has far exceeded my expectations. Both of my sons are managers in the fast food business and use these every day. They both love them. Fantastic quality, easy to use and they love the auto open feature. Highly recommend.

Fantastic knife for the price
Very nice, great quality knife for a low price. Well made. Feels solid and hefty in the hand. Blade is reasonably sharp and the action decently smooth. Lock-up is good. Looks nice, too. Opening the knife via the wave feature takes some getting used to, and doesn't always work properly if not deployed at the right angle and with enough speed. (Not the fault of the knife, though. Again, just takes practice to get it right.) Would buy it again, and may in fact do so. Highly recommended.Very nice, great quality knife for a low price. Well made.
