This is still one of the better radios that they made even compared to the newer ones in my opinion. The newer ones just don't have the same type of sound to me. Pioneer should go back to what ever processors that they used in this unit. Features and sounds of this unit are stellar.

I just finished the install on my stereo system. So far I am impressed. Most impressed by the self calibration it does to set the sound stage. I couldn't believe the tuning it did. I am a Pioneer fan always have been I think and they always seem to have the best sound quality in my opinion.

Its nice unit. Equalizer is questionable. Very difficult to navigate take while to learn. Also I think all units they should put out more wattage 4x55 is good, 500 would be grate. amp wouldn't be necessary unless your a watts freak.
