Absolutely must have!!
I am a Bicycle Builder 4 a very long time, and I seemed reluctant to spend the money for something that absolutely drove me crazy when I was building bicycles. Myself I hate the handlebars spinning freely in the air as I have my bike on the stand I used to gripe to myself tie it with a rope whatever I could do to keep the handlebars from moving. LOL I bought this simple little item paid very little for something that I've needed for so long. The point is this is a must and simple-to-use once I put it on my handlebars never moved again my frustrations went away for something so simple. A home made strap works better.
This is the first Park Tool item I have been less than pleased with. It's a solid piece of rod, bent in an interesting shape that should do a better job, holding the bars steady, than it does. At least on my bike. May work great for some but not so much for me.

The Classic Case of "Why Didn't I Buy This Sooner?"
Park Tool's HBH-2 is nothing fancy, but it's clearly as well-made and well-designed as any other Park Tool product. It's one of those items that you'll think you can do without, but after you use it, you'll wonder why you didn't get it sooner. I can think of far less productive ways to spend $20. It would also make a good gift for anyone who does any of his or her own repairs. I used to tie a section of inner tube around the front wheel and downtube to stabilize the front of the bike while doing repairs. I recently completed my 1st bike build and wished I had the HBH-2 to keep the untaped handlebars from repeatedly smacking into the top tube when I didn't have the front wheel mounted (to utilize my inner tube method). Shame on me for purchasing this item near the end of the build ... Park Tool's HBH-2 is nothing fancy, but it's clearly as well-made and well-designed as any other Park Tool product. It's one of those items that you'll think you can do without, but after you use it, you'll wonder why you didn't get it sooner. I can think of far less productive ways to spend $20. The HBH-2 does what it's supposed to do, and the velcro strap can easily be moved out of the way if you don't wish to use it. Additionally, I've found the HBH-2 to be equally handy in storing the bike. In keeping the handlebars and front wheel straight, it all but eliminates the possibility of someone accidentally bumping into the bike and making the front wheel turn sharply which causes the bike to fall over onto the garage floor. When it's time to ride, just lift the HBH-2 off the top tube and handlebars, and away you go!

Simple but Effective Tool
Products are USA made and truly good quality. Pretty much any bike tool Oark Tool has. Some may say they are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Functionality and ease of use time and time again.
