The 600 series NVMe SSD can provide a significant boost in performance for a reasonable price. Whether it is used as a primary drive, a storage drive or to host a swap file you really can't go wrong. The drive has met all published performance benchmarks and, so far, has performed flawlessly. One caveat....if you use this drive as a primary drive with Win7, be prepared to go through a lengthy process to get the OS installed. Unlike some other manufacturers drives, Intel depends on MS drivers to function and these drivers are not (to my knowledge) available as a raw driver pack. Consequently, hot fix updates need to be injected into the Win7 boot and install WIM files. You can't F6 the drivers during the install. Also be aware that the MS drivers do not support firmware upgrades. I'm not sure why Intel chose this route but it does make installation difficult and this fact should be considered in the decision making process. Win10, on the other hand, is a breeze to install once the UEFI is set up correctly.Read full review

The intel 600p series is the fastest ssd drive. I had other ssd drives before, but since I upgrade the motherboard, I decided for some thing new. I love it. Everything works so fast! I would recommend it, but you need to check out first if your motherboard supports this system of ssd drive.

If you're not one of those geek extremists who measure computer performance in picoseconds you'll love it. It's fast enough.
