If you’re considering a power conditioner for your home theater system, then this is a must! My audio quality has definitely been enhanced, the video is a bit better, and I can rest assured that my system won’t fry again because of a power surge... ask me how I know that... if I bought this five years ago, I probably wouldn’t be writing this review... I’m running a Marantz receiver with Focal speakers with two subs and I can’t tell you just how much difference the Panamax makes. Amazing built if you want to protect your gear and have a sound that will blow your mind, this is it, it has a current regulator that cover all the power for your amplifier, for me this is incredible good, I use to have Power Monster, 5100 The sound was good, but on the first storm one was blown, so I replace them all. I can see power voltage deviations on the front in real time. The downside is that to know for sure it's protecting my components, they have to be threatened by a surge. But it's a small price to pay to add what's hopefully a level of protection for $1000's of dollars worth of electronics.
