I use the truly 'archival' M-Disc single-layer 4.7GB DVD discs for all my digital photography files. I buy the M-DISCs on spindles of 10 at a time, and since they do not come with cases, I chose these. These cases are molded in one piece of transparent polypropylene, which is extremely stable over a very, very long period of time, under proper storage conditions(cool, dry, and dark). And they are the smaller CD size rather than the taller DVD size cases, so they create less "bulk" being a very minimalist design and execution(one-piece molding) with no hinges to break and durable enough for infrequent and careful handling. All for a low per-unit cost for my "priceless" digital files! PERFECT for my needs and budget. Dan (atget26)

I use these for all my expensive CDs that I keep in my car and home to protect them from the scratching that occurs more easily when using a CD "brick". They are lightweight, compact, and clear so there is no need for labeling. I love them!!
