This is my 3rd Nook and it works like the previous models, with which I'm familiar. It also has page turning buttons, if you prefer that over touching the screen. The screen on this model is particularly sharp, and I always appreciate the built in dictionary. My only "con" is that I bought an open box Nook, which is basically a "factory second," and the flaw is that the coating on the back of the e-reader was peeling off. A big patch was missing and it continued to flake. I cut a rectangle of Contact paper, stuck it on, and that solved the problem.

Could never get connected to WiFi so don't know if the Nook is a good value or not. Looks good, easy to hold, but that's as far as I got. Nook was a reconditioned ereader, not new.
