A few months ago, I was interested in VOIP telephone systems. Someone locally suggested that I try a MagicJack Plus. After purchasing one and finding it very simple to install by plugging in two furnished plugs or cables, I started getting a dial tone that worked just like any other phone system I had used. It is amazing, as long as your cable modem is working, the MagicJack performs flawlessly. You can call anywhere you like in the United States and some other areas free with one annual payment. You can set the whole thing up on the Internet at the MagicJack Website easily. Another feature I like is receiving mp3 files in my email box of all recorded messages. These are played easily on your pc by clicking on the file. Of course, you can retrieve your messages on the phone with password protection also. Manic Jack delivers great sound quality and very economical phone service. The unit itself is excellent but it was very difficult to get it set up. They said the unit was out of date and no longer being sold. After several calls and extended time on my cell phone, it is finally working perfectly.

I am running 2 units. A MJ go unit is my phone line, the MJ plus is used for fax only. Both work fine when using the adapter plug.. There is a problem when plugging into the computer. I'm running windows 10 and both units cannot access the internet. Tech cannot find the problem.
