I bought this sound bar to go with my Samsung TV. Using HDMI ARC, the sound bar is easily controlled on-screen by the TV remote. IMO, the sound quality is good to very good. The EQ does allow for custom sound settings but its not a true EQ with much range or sound definition. Again, just my opinion. The wireless sub produces great bass for such a small cabinet. I wasn’t looking for a high end or very pricey sound bar. I am not at all disappointed for the value.

My guess is the people having problems with sound are using Bluetooth and not a dedicated connection like HDMI or optical. I’m using an optical connection and performance is flawless. No lag at all. Voices are perfectly in sync. Bluetooth is fine in most cases where you’ve got a good distance between homes but in populated areas there’s a host of signals as well as other people using Bluetooth for various things.
