Try something original
Ok, it may seem a bit dated nowadays, but this is one of the most inspirational albums ever released. Yep, EVER! Marylin Manson, Korn, Limp Bizkit, the whole Metalcore scene was inspired by the diverse sounding 'Angel Dust'. 'The Real Thing' may be slightly the better album because it had a 'poppier' sound, but this one introduces Mike Patton properly to the pop-rock world and because of that, there's the odd, the brilliant and the sheer genius on this album. Like 'Nevermind', 'Appetite for Destruction', Metallica 'Black' and Pearl Jam 'Ten', no record collection is complete without this. Don't believ me? I don't believe you like music... REAL music!

Snappled it up!
What an album this is. I was singing 'Land of Sunshine' in my head the other week, I havent got the album at home since I lent it to 'who-knows' years ago and it was never returned so I thought...it's high time I owned it again! My next thought was of eBay. Someone else might be selling for a bargain price and I can snapple the bastad! And I did! The CD hasnt disappointed, very pleased to have it back amongst my collection and you'll be happy to learn I am in fine voice whilst driving. In the words of Mike Patton: "A fortune is smiling upon you"...yeah!

Worth a listen
Overall this is an average CD from an early 90's band. There is one real stand out track 'Midlife crisis' which is excellent.

a flawed classic
If you liked faith no more before this album, then chances are you wont be put off by this one.....Its their crossover classic which puts some fans off. For the rest of us though it has 3-4 absolutley classic rock tracks and quite a few run of the mill styled churners....All in all though a fine album of its time

amazing
great album - amazing vocals, avantgarde music.Faith No More is an avant garde metal band. FNM had a series of lead singers, including, for a very brief time Courtney Love, however their most famous frontman was the prolific, experimental and eccentric Mr. Bungle frontman, Mike Patton.
