The charger wires are good they work well altho one of the 3 is a bit faulty where the black bit is that's over the metal connection comes off so when ya finished charging phone and remove the charger it's hard to take charger out as the black bit slides off but the connector stays in but the other 2 are how they should be

I connected this cable to an Avantree car charger that has worked with all different cables, without issue. After a few seconds plugged in, I could smell burning. The cable was melting at the connection end. When I pulled the cable out of the phone, the plastic housing detached and was pulled away from the connector, which was still inside my phone. I had to use pliars to pull the metal collector (now glued via the melted plastic) out of my phone. Dangerous and cheap product. I should have known better.

To begin with I was thinking "brilliant" this cable is going to be a perfect replacement after I lost the original Samsung S8+ cable which I'd had since July 2017 and worked great. So I ordered one of these in Feb 2019 and unfortunately less than 2 later and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, then when it does it keeps coming up with the message on my phone about slow charging and please use original cable to get fast charging. Also the item came slightly apart about a month ago, still works to some degree as stated above but the quality isn't great. This is why I've gone with 3 stars. Delivery was quick and price was good value but quality appears to be lacking. Shame.

Definitely not "genuine" as the listing states. They work well, but dont do a fast charge like the genuine samsung ones. I just get cable charging and takes around 3 hours on my samsung s8+. Whereas the fast charge genuine cables take around 2 hours. I bought 3 and one has broken already so around a 1 month usage time.

This product is very badly brought 2 off got one free. The cables will not fit, they will not charge my S8 and can not be used for data they don't go all the way into charging socket like my genuine cables. If I try to push in further connection fitting splits into two. I think I have been sold quality control failures.
