With this purchase. So I have a 2018 F150 XL 5.0 L, Supercrew. Power locks with a key to start, manual temp control settings. I have no advanced settings in my menu. So I asked for mine to be programmed to start by "Lock, Unlock, Lock", so the horn wouldn't blow by cranking. No issues at all. All that was required to use was one T harness, there was 2, but it's obvious which one to use. Literally took 3 minutes, and would recommend this product. The range is pretty good, and it does turn off the truck after about 10-15 minutes automatically if they key isn't inserted.With this purchase. So I have a 2018 F150 XL 5.0 L, Supercrew. Installed this on a 2017 explorer base model. This is an excellent product. It is plug and play for the most part. All remote start options are available in the dash via the steering wheel controls after installing. However, since our explorer is a base model, it is not equipped with a factory hood pin. There is no mention of this requirement in the description. But upon receiving the unit, the instructions in the box say "vehicle must be equipped with a factory hood pin". If your vehicle does not have this, it will require a hood pin switch kit to be installed and a visit to the Ford dealer to activate the hood pin. I was able to install the switch and harness myself and activate the hood pin with a free download of Forscan on my laptop and a $40 ELM connector. It works great now. It ... I ordered the remote start for my daughters car. Watched the video to install. I had it installed in 10 minutes after finding the right metric sockets to remove the ODB2 plug in mount. It was as easy as they say it is. No programming needed. I'"s been of for 2 weeks, seems to work fine. Time will tell how long it lasts. Good value for the price. I have already recommended it to several people for 2015-2018 Fusion owners. I didn't see anything that was bad about the product at this time.I ordered the remote start for my daughters car. I’m in sales which should tell you I’m not very good at anything mechanical, but in about 10 minutes I had remote start! Works exactly as advertised, couldn’t be happier with this product!!! I bought this for my2017 Ford Fusion. It was easy to install, although they don’t tell you that you will have to remove your lower dash panel to get it in. But that’s no big deal, just watch a utube video and pop it out. It literally pops out! I love using this ignition device. I start the car while I’m getting ready, and it’s nice and warm when I go out the door! Highly recommend!
