Amazing Savings!
I lost my, automatic remote lockToyota keys to my Camry. No problem i thought, i'll just get another one made. I called the Toyota dealership. They wanted a whopping $380 to replace it!! I called another dealer, $340! I called several locksmiths, they would not even tell me the price so when I pinned them down they told me they would tell me the price after they got out to my location and it was around 230 - $260. I found out that I could buy this key fob on eBay for $29. I called around and I got a locksmith to reprogram the whole thing (in the rain) which took 10 minutes for $50 so I was able to get a new key for $80. It works perfect!!! Automatic locks and trunk release work great!! You just have to order the right fob. This site told me to look for a little dot on my 2011 key and told ... Once I had a key fob that occasionally worked and another that was only a little more reliable but the case was cracked into three pieces. Ordered this repair kit that even the most unmechanical person could figure out which arrived in a couple of days and now I have two like-new key fobs. Yippee!!!
