    Exact fit, easy to install.

    This was an exact fit for my 2000 Toyota Tacoma and it literally took 30 seconds to replace. NOTE: It doesn't come with the clip to secure the lock. You must use the original clip. Also, it comes with its own set of keys so I now have a second key on my key chain.

    Works great but where is the clip?

    The reason I did not give this five stars is that it does not include the clip that holds the lock in place. If you do not have this clip you cannot install this part; it would simply fall out of the hole it is installed through. I was able to hack a fix using a generic c-clip and some JB Weld but it was not easy. Including the clip with this part would be a smart move and I don't believe would ad much to it's cost.

    Toyota key set and lock and latch for gas filler door, replacement

    This set was very, very easy to install, did need a part from the old cover and lock. So, if you have taken that off already, I hope you didn't lose any pieces! Took less than two minutes to remove the old one and put the new one on. Look carefully as you take it apart; position does matter. I wish I could have used the lock cylinder out of the old one. Now I have to carry an extra key. I have not found any way around this. However, great fix and I wish I had done it sooner.
