Block heater doesn’t fit. I contacted the seller after it arrived to double check the fitment for my 2000 F350 7.3 because the directions it came with were for a Detroit engine. I was told yep it will fit. Well it doesn’t. Turns out the one in my truck just needed a new cord which I used from this purchase so not a total loss. But I don’t recommend it

This same unit fits both Detroit and Fords. We even provided the customer with the installation sheet that showed both applications. While the 1500w version is an extremely tight fit due to the increased length over the OE unit (which is required to retain 1500w versus the OE 1000w), it does fit. This is Zerostart's second most popular number and we sell hundreds of this unit a year. Rarely do we have an issue.

A+++++Seller; excellent in all aspects. Very fast to process & ship out my order, arrived ahead of estimated delivery date. Nice gasket in original packaging as described. Sadly it was bent & cracked from rough handling in USPS shipping, so will need to sort that out. The gasket would have benefitted from more rigid cardboard wrap or box knowing the lack of care shippers have for parcels these days. Otherwise outstanding customer care, highly recommend, will gladly shop/buy here again!
