I installed per directions enclosed with the rain guards with the clips in the rear window. The windows were tested and the glass opened and closed without issue. A few days later the glass apparently caught the edge of the metal clips when closing resulting in the window breaking. The clip was now partially folded over. The seller said I must have installed incorrectly and sent me links to youtube videos on installation of of the product. The videos confirmed my clips were installed correctly

That is not physically impossible. I have never seen anyone crack their windows because of rain guards. I have been selling and installing them for 15 years. It is clearly user error.
