    They mean unpainted

    I figured lip spoiler would come in the default matte black -- same as the OEM lip spoiler -- but I guess not, my mistake. Don't even think of mounting this unless you get it prep'd and painted. It has lots of surface imperfections. I was hoping for a DIY upgrade, but no such luck.
