Perfect fit and good quality at a reasonable price. The only problem is that the license plate light housings do not fit, as others have pointed out. The holes in the bumper for the license plate light housings are too small, since the OEM light housings also do not fit. The only cure is to take out the grinder and grind down the housings by trial and error untill they fit then shove them in. It would be nice if the supplier read these reviews and fixed the problem. Not quite OEM
The plastic topper is 2-piece versus one-piece for oem but not a game-changer. One license plate light hole was too small, so I ground the plastic housing to fit. The inner bumper frame did not have an adequate coat of paint for rust prevention so I repainted with Rustoleum. Bottom of bumper only attached to inner frame by 4 bolts per side versus 7 bolts my for oem bumper. Chrome finish and fit very good. Fit like factory orginal
I've been needing to replace my bumper on my 01 F150 because it was about to rust off. This looks great and everything matched up. The only issue I had were one of the new light holders was a little too big for the hole. I took the old one's from my other bumper and they fit fine. There was a couple of rusty spots on the black reinforcement bars, but I just touch them up with some spray paint. Sorry I waited so long to replace it. I would say it's an hour or less job if you can just unbolt the old bumper and put this one on. I was expecting to have to cut off the nuts on the one, the impact wrench took them right off. I did have to do some clean up underneath the tow hitch and paint it, so took me a little longer.I've been needing to replace my bumper on my 01 F150 because it was about to rust off. As others have noted one of the tag light housings is larger than the opening in the bumper. My solution was to sand away at the tag light housing with a dremel, then sand a little by hand with high grit sandpaper. I wouldn't recommend as some have done and sand away at the hole on the bumper, you'd only be inviting rust down the road. Btw, it appears that all of the aftermarket versions of this bumper have this same flaw so there's no getting around it. No sense buying one for $350 if it's going to have the same issue. (This one was about $240 at the time of this review). It's well constructed, sturdy, looks like new. So, unless you can find a f-150 at a junkyard with a pristine bumper you're not going to be able to beat this one at this price.As others have noted one of the tag light housings is larger than the opening in the bumper.
