Finally no more spring slap on leveled F150
I picked up a used pair of these with blown out ball joints. Ordered replacement ball joints from Freedom directly for $20. Meanwhile found a deal on Freedom loaded struts/ springs. They sat for a year before I broke a front axle. Finally got them in a few days ago. Ride is a little stiffer, forgot to measure to fender lip with spacers then with freedoms installed. I was very pleased to be able to slide my fingers between the Uppers and the spring. Stock springs took a beating with factory replacement uppers. Only drawback I've found... My 35x12.50r20's rub just before lock on the front of upper hoop. Summer tires currently on are 0 offset, winters are -6. Hoping to find an offset to eliminate rubbing, Previously only rubbed on firewall at lock in reverse. We will see, poor tires.I picked up a used pair of these with blown out ball joints.
