For $15 or whatever it cost (less than $20), you're getting a working key fob. Which is amazing. It does feel light and hollow though which isn't surprising really. I like it. Doesn't feel like it's going to break anytime soon either. Easy go program too. My only complaint so far is this: the function where you turn the chirp on/off for your car doesn't work with this new fob. I had to use my original Subaru key fob to turn the chirp off. The chirp makes horn honk when you lock/unlock the car.

Finally got around to having new keys cut and remotes programmed. Glad, I went to a locksmith bc he had a machine that wasted no time in programming my new fobs. Fobs were exactly as described. The Key Fobs arrived quickly and were well packaged. The programming instructions were a little hard to find, but their support team emailed me the link and programming them went flawlessly. Getting the physical keys cut took a lot of calling around with mobile locksmiths wanting $250, but I found an honest locksmith that cut 2 of them for me from the original key for $9.00 when I showed up at their store. I'm very pleased with how this transaction turned out and will buy again from this vendor.
