The replacement lower hood was a direct replacement for my John Deere lawn tractor lower hood that had cracked. It was easy to remove the old lower hood and install the new unit. My old hood top was in good shape; all the holes lined up perfectly.

The only fault I find is that it can't close completely on the left side, due to it hitting a rod that's mounted to hold the snowblower chute adjustment (which isn't adjustable at all). Not a HUGE deal, just a little quirk with it; I may be able to dremel it a little around that support rod. Other than that, fantastic condition (new) and a bit less expensive than the Deere dealer (due to no shipping or tax; which is kind of significant).
