Exact replacement
I needed this because I have a dirt/gravel driveway, and over time, the plastic chute took a beating. I had it taped together with sheet metal reinforcement, but finally the gear ring on the bottom broke, so it was time for replacement. The driveway is a hundred yards long, and if I couldn't clear it myself, I couldn't afford to live here. Actually I'm not happy that mr. Deere thought it a good idea to make a plastic chute. Obviously this is planned obsolescence, something bound to fail eventually, and seriously overpriced.
