Nothing in this kit is Made to fit My LA135 Steering shaft will not accept the my Factory OEMsteering wheel Reused my existing shaft, The bushings and pinion Gear after 1 week of install showed significant signs of wear. my Existing Gear plate was in near perfect shape, So when the new pinion gear showed that much wear, I went to John Deere and purchased my parts. This kit is junk. If it werent for the time Elapsed. I would have returned for refund. Poor Fit
The shaft had to be modified to work. The included gear would not fit on the shaft even when the paint was removed from the shaft. Furthermore, the old steering wheel would not fit on the other end of the shaft. I had to file and grind both ends to make the shaft work. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Where's the nut!!
The shaft looks nice, and shiney. Straight as an arrow. It arrived a day early! Great job. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a nut that fits on the ends. Until I can, the shaft is useless to me! Should offer nuts as an accessory part with the shaft. Problem solved! Thanks, Loren Christophel

the splines on the lower end were not machined correctly, too wide and not deep enough to fit into the steering pinion. Will be returning it.
