Love the pictures detailing all the different types of pasta, grains, etc. Has instructions for lots of basic cooking techniques making this a great first cookbook. I used mine so much, I had to buy this copy as a second.

Wonderful cook book. Great shower or wedding gift. Perfect for the new bride in her new kitchen. Has great photos with excellent description of cooking methods, cooking tools, etc.
I bought this for a gift, now will look for one for me. This is a great cookbook, but that is what you expect from Better Homes and Gardens. But this one has the added benefit of having information for beginning cooks and sharing cooking duties.
I really like this cook book. The recipes are very pratical in use. It's a must have for any Bride/New Cook.
