I use mine on grass and light weeds and it has plenty of power . The flower guard is a nice feature and I love the adjustability of this weed eater . If you want something to cut small brush this isn't it but its awesome for the average yard . I already have 2 cordless worx weed eaters , which are great , but this one has way more power . Thanks for the amazing deal .

Sold as "New" but not in original box....It was indeed NOT the factory original box. What wasn't told about the unit was that the dual line feed holder had been rewound NOT by the factory and NOT with factory line. The line was actually a more expensive type that had been wound by hand and done real sloppy. Any one that has had trimmer knows if you wrap the cord in the holder in a quick and sloppy way, you'll be stopping every two minutes to pull more line out by hand as the auto feed design assumes the cord is wrapped correctly as not to get held up because of cross alignment on the holder. From the first 5 minutes of use I noticed the cord was not coming out and I had to stop and pull more cord out by hand in order to continue trimming. After 7 or 8 times of this I decided to take a look at the spool and line itself and found the line had been put on the holder in such a way it stopped feeding and was causing heat to build up on the line and was trying to melt itself together thus causing even more resistance to feeding out. These are all signs of the line not being wrapped in the spool correctly and certainly not by factory machine or even a person taught how to wrap the line correctly. Not what one would call "New" in any sense of the word.Read full review

I ordered this trimmer because I have been so frustrated with trying to keep my gas trimmers in running order. Ethanol kills 2-cylce gas engines! I figured for $31 and some change, I had nothing to lose with this trimmer. Wow, this is so much more powerful than I ever expected. This trimmer blazed right through knee high ryegrass that had grown up in my flower garden. I'm serious, I like this trimmer better than my gas Stihl and Echo trimmers. Yes, it is somewhat annoying to have an electric cord, but not near as annoying as always having to tinker with my gas engines to keep them running. Additionally, the auto feed line works superbly.

Works great, have to stop and flip it upside down to push button and manually unwind string though. Used to the automatic bang on ground types for release of string. Other than that, great bang for the buck. My mom has the smaller battery version, which works similarly, but much lighter and no cord. Battery would last for most. However, she has big place, so I weed eat first and recharge while I mow. Then finish later.
